Further notes from Robyn: "I have one more riddle to solve re one of the 2 Isaacs listed in this family. There is a Catherine Dewhurst Christened to an Isaac and Mary Dewhurst at Gargrave 9 January 1814. An Isaac Dewhurst marries Mary Pearson at Gargrave 10 June 1813. As I know, Isaac Jr., the father of the above family was alive until after 1821, so this Mary could be a second and younger wife for Isaac - marrying after Catharine died in 1810. Mary could also be a possible second wife for the son Isaac III who married Hannah Swire. Catharine, the child, is probably the Catherine Mary Dewhurst who marries Adam Jessop in Gargrave 18 Aug 1831. Adam Jessop appears in our family legend. Catharine MaryDewhurst who is married in 1831 could also be the Catherine Dewhurst b. 1802 at Broughton. This is still a mystery."
