[6]-189 - 1 June 1757 : Deed from James Clayton to JOHN STUCKBURY for 100 acres of land exhibited to Court and proved by oath of Robert Gibbs one of the Suvscribing Witnesses thereto. It is ordered to be registered.

SAMUEL STUCKBURY records his Mark, a Crap and Slitt in the Right Ear & three under nicks in the Left Ear;
THOMAS STUCKBURY Records his Mark, a Crapp and two Slitts in the Right Ear & two under Nicks in the Left Ear;
JEREMIAH STUCKBURY Records his mark, a Crapp slitt in the Left Ear and two under Nicks in the Right Ear; CASIAH STUCKBURY Records her Mark, a Crap in the Right Ear and an Under Nick in the Left Ear;

[25]-208 - Mar. 1759 : JOHN STUCKBURY being summoned as an Evidence in the afsd. Cause for the Plantiff Upon which he fail (sic) to appear. It is ordered that he be fined accordingly to the Act of Assembly in that Case made and provided, as a Nica Causa (sic) Issue for him to appear Next Court.


[31]-214 - Whereas JOHN STUCKBURY was fined according to Act of Assembly by an Order of last Court Nise Causa for not appearing to give Testamony on the behalf of Samuel Boutwell Plantiff against John Smith Deft. being Lawfully Summoned And Whereas the said JOHN STUCKBURY has had Notice thereof, and being Summoned to appear to this Court and shew cause why the fine should not become absolutehe has failed so to do It is Considered by the Court that the said JOHN STUCKBURY hath forfeited and that he pay to the said Samuel Boutwell Twenty Pounds Proclamation Money / Execution Awarded for the said Sum of Money / When the said JOHN STUCKBURY shall pay the said Samuel Boutwell five pounds two shillings & six pence Proc. Money and satisfie the Costs of Suit the said Samuel Boutwell Releases to the said JOHN STUCKBURY the Residue of the said Judgement.
