UPDATE from Sandra Carawan 6/5/2007 - Upper left photo has been identified (left to right) as Carrie Lee Cahoon, Howard Cahoon (child), and Claud Cahoon.
UPDATE 1/6/2001 - Upper right photo has been identified (left to right) as James Henry Spencer and Mary Ann Howard. According to In Memory Of James Henry Spencer (Sept. 15, 1857 - Nov. 23, 1948) was the son of William Watson Spencer and Susan Prucia Leath and Mary Ann Howard (Feb. 10, 1857 - Feb. 19, 1926) was the daughter of Cornelius Howard and Nancy Elizabeth Gibbs. They are both buried in Epworth Methodist Church Cemetery near Sladesville, Currituck Twp., Hyde County.
UPDATE 1/6/2001 - Lower left photo has been identified as Ida and Sam Allen Bennett. Nothing else is known about them.
UPDATE 1/6/2001 - Lower right photo has been identified as Olivia Mae Davis Mann (Sept. 27, 1857 - March 29, 1930). According to In Memory Of she was the daughter of Thomas Marion Davis and Eliza Jones Saunderson. She was the wife of William Dixon Mann. She is buried in the Davis Cemetery in Lake Landing Twp. of Hyde County
These four pictures were taken from the Hyde Co. History book published in 1976. There were no captions under the photos and the editors did not know who they were.
