Obituary from Creston newspaper reads:

MRS AGNES ODELL, 85, DIES MONDAY

Mrs Agnes Odell, 85, a resident of Union county for 58 years, died at 9:30 p.m. Monday at
the home of her daughter, Mrs L.P. (Clara) Fust, in Highland township (Creston, Iowa). She
had been ill for eight years.

Funeral services will be held at the Christian church here at 2:30 p.m. Thursday. Rev. Harry
J. Rains will officiate. Burial will be at the Graceland Cemetery. Casket pallbearers will be
Frank Ide, Robert ??vain. Ray Taylor, Ray Downing, ??
Steers, and Frank Ickis. The body will remain at the Deitrick-Keating chapel until time for
the service.

Agnes A. Bergersen was born in Norway, March 10, 1862. She was the daughter of Nels
and Ellen Bergersen. She came to the United States while she was a girl and was married in
Illinois January 1, 1879 to Frank W. Odell, who proceeded her in
death April 2, 1917.

They came to Union county in November, 1889 and she had lived here since that time.

Surviving are four daughters, Ella Sevier and Clara Fust of Creston, Cora Smith of Tingley
and Enola Waltz of Des Moines: one son, C E. Odell of Creston, and a sister, Mrs. Tillie
Persels of Osceola.

GUSTAVE N BERGERSEN OBIT

G. N. Bergersen of Crookston, MN, brother of Mrs Agnes Odell, Mrs Tillie Percels and Mrs Mae Hill, died
Sunday at the hospital in Grand Forks, N.D. after being injured in an automobile accident last Thursday.
