John Cannon arrived in SC about the time it was opened up as a Royal Colony of England.
According to research of Mrs Whitfield of Dallas, TX, John Cannon sailed for America at the age of 18 as an indentured servant on the ship "Minerva", out of London. That would have been about 1730. Daniel Cannon would have been about 4 in 1730.
