NORTH MOUNTAIN BRANCH

JOHN FULTON(1)

Rockingham County, Virginia
Updated August 31, 2002

NOTE: A + sign in front of a child indicates the child married and had a new family group of his own. This is information I acquired in trying to separate the many Fultons in Augusta County, Virginia. I am not descended from this line here so have no further information at this time. My thanks to Mrs.Katharine Bushman of Augusta County who did much research on my behalf.  I have gone back to my original sources to verify the points challenged by other researchers.  The sources are at the bottom of the page as they have always been without speculation on my part.  Data all provided by Mrs. Katharine Bushman in 1992.

Generation One

Please note the numerals in blue after the name are footnotes with further information or sources quoted at the bottom of the page. This lineage includes the James Fulton who emigrated to Gallia County, Ohio.  Also the Thomas that married Elizabeth and lived in or near Staunton.
