*The only Samuel Hollingsworth we are at present aware of at this 
time in history, was the fellow of same name in Cumberland County,
North Carolina, near Fayetteville.  Was this the same man?

    Ashe County, joining a tract belonging to said WILLIAM HOLLINS-
    WORTH where he now lives on New River, North Fork.  Witnesses:

NOTE: Book C begins in 1814.  Deeds 1805-1813 seem to be totally
missing.  It is highly probable they were lost when the courthouse
burned.  Many wills perished in this fire.  Book A copied in 1856.

(5) Book A page 432 "VINSON HOLLEN" a witness, 1803, to Indenture,
    MATTHIAS CARPENTER to WILLIAM JONES.  100 acres.  This may seem 
    peculiar to the reader.  But a future article about Clay County,
    Kentucky - a later home of the Ashe County family - will explain.

(6) From Court Minutes August Term, 1811.  Deed from WILLIAM HOLLINS-
    WORTH to ELIJAH POWELL.  50 acres.  Proved by JOHN REED. (Not found
    in any Deed Books now extant.)

(7) Ditto Nov. 1811.  JOSEPH CALLAWAY to VINSON HOLENSWORTH.  5 acres.
    ELISHA CALLAWAY proved.

(8) Ditto. Feb. 1812.  Deed VINCENT HOLLANDSWORTH to ? 135 acres.
    Also from WILLIAM HOLLANDSWORTH to JOSEPH REED 135 acres. Ditto
    for 160 acres to AMOS COLLINS.
