HOLLINGSWORTH MARRAGES IN NOTTINGHAMSHIRE, ENGLAND
PART ONE

(W.P.W. Phillimore, Ltd., London, printed 26 volumes of marriages from the Registers of this Shire. Out of 108 parishes in this Shire, which had registers, according to Burke's Key to the Ancient Parish Registers of England & Wales (1908) we found that there were 50 published. (Marriages only.) Thus, we went through all of the volumes, (no index) and extracted every Hollingworth entry. This series acts as a sort of "census" of localities for these families. Some of the registers begin in the year that they officially were supposed to begin - 1538. Others later. There are about 164 in all. These are arranged alphebetically.)
