Any Family History involves much more than simple lists of ancestors with their birth dates and places. Our objective is to provide a magazine-type format on this website that also provides insights as to the lives that our ancestors lived, their accomplishments, historical events that affected their lives, the places they lived, and even the clothes they wore. The website describes several different families. Jack's ancestral families include, among others, the Ott, Roth, Basler, Hopper, Summers, Utz, and Baker families on his father's side, and the Nooyen, Hermans, and Maas families on his mother's side. Carol's families include the Hahn and Bartz families on her father's side, and the Sprengeler family on her mother's. It is suggested that you begin your visit by browsing either Jack's or Carol's Surname List and Pedigree Chart pages. Links are provided on the Surname List to take you directly to a specific surname in a Family Chart, and the Pedigree Chart provides a clearer understanding of how the various families are interconnected.
