This site contains scanned images of the cover of the application for payment of the accrued pension owed to the heirs of the widow Elizabeth Hooper. These pages were scanned at 300 dpi resolution to give the greatest detail for printouts. Brightness was altered to improve legibility, and blank portions lacking writing or printing were cropped to reduce file size.

The ledger sized outer jacket was folded into four parts. Reproduced below is the single exterior surface which had writing.

The inside of the cover has a large top margin, with writing crossing the lower two thirds of the sheet. Writing is perpendicular to the writing on the opposite side.
