My family is directly descended from the George Hollinger (68 - born
10/4/1801)) and his son William Hollinger (38 - born mid-1830's) listed
above. (1870 Mont Co,PA, msh)
Henry Hollinger (24) above was another son of George Hollinger. George
Hollinger/Hullinger was married to Elizabeth Galloway
while his son William was married to Emma E. Johnson. (Henry married Mary
Jane Famous). Other children of George and Elizabeth were
John Wesley, Ross, Joseph, James, Christianna, Mary Emma, Robert, and Anna.

I am trying to find out the parents of George Hollinger and further back. I
 believe George's father may have been a John Hollinger,
born abt 1775 in PA.

Since there are so many Hollingers in this area, I am sure the connection
is there, but I have been unable to make it. This Hollinger/Hullinger
family
ended up in the Chicago area.

If anyone has any further information, I would love to find out.

My Hullingers are from the Chicago area and originally came from
Norristown, Montgomery County, PA. Can you go further back than George W.D.
Hullinger?

Looking for any information on a Frank Hullinger bown in 1863 in
Norristown, PA and ended up in Chicago before 1883. Frank had several
brothers named Robert, Herbert, Howard, Ashton, and Walter. Frank died in
Chicago in 1939.

Frank married Elizabeth Glover of Chicago and had 12 children.

Supposedly, Frank descended from a Jacob Hollinger who immigrated to the US
in the 1700's.

Any info on Frank or ancestors would be greatly appreciated.

of Norristown, Montgomery County, PA. I am not 100% confident of the
ancestral
line back past George. I am looking for anyone with connections to this
family
who ended up in the Chicago area. They may have stopped somewhere along

I just wanted to do another request to see if anyone has any ties to the
Hullingers/Hollingers of Norristown, Montgomery County, PA and/or Mills
Creek, Huntingdon County, PA.

Here is what I know for sure:

George Hullinger (10/4/1801 - 8/17/1870) was born in PA and died in
Norristown, Montgomery Co., PA.
Wife was Elisabeth Galloway (Abt 1812 - 1/1/1885). They may have been
married in Huntingdon County, PA according to LDS Ancestral File.

Children were:

William Hullinger (Abt 1837 - after 1880) - may have been born in Mill
Creek, Huntingdon County, PA. Married Emily Johnson of Norristown,
Montgomery County, PA.
(Children were Frank Wesley - ended up in Chicago, Robert, Herbert,
Howard,
Ashton, Walter, Harry, William, and Bernard)
John Wesley Hullinger (6/10/1830 - 2/9/1909) married Martha Smiley
McKeenan.
Ross Hullinger (abt 1835 - )
Joseph Hullinger (Abt 1841 - ) married a McGinley.

Thanks Marie! You asked me once if I knew where they were in 1850. Now I
know - Delaware County, PA.

This is my family!!! I am trying to connect them to all of the other
plethora of Hullinger/Hollinger families of the same area but I have been
struggling for years now. My only clue is that George Hullinger might be
the son of a John Hollinger (born about 1775 in PA). Source is the LDS
file.

Any help connecting this family to the rest of the Hullinger/Hollinger gang
would be MOST appreciated.
