Here is my one and only Hollinger/Hullinger.....

Mary Ann Hullinger b. 1814 Pennsylvania m. February 27, 1834 Warwick
Village,
Chester County, Pa. to Joseph McCurdy b.September 18, 1808 Pennsylvania,
d.
August 1873 Wallace Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania.

Marriage information from Tri-County Heritage Society, Po Box 352,
Morgantown, Pa. 19543 states " Joseph McCurdy, of Chester County to [ on
2/27/1834 ] Mary Ann Hollinger, of Chester County. "  Then, hand written
on
the side of the letter it says, " Records of St. Mary's Episcopal Church
Warwick Village, Chester County."

If the math is right Mary was abt. 20 years old when she married Joseph,
and
he  would have been 26 years old.

None of this information is FACT, as I am still researching the details
as I
do not have copies of these records yet.

Here are the children of Mary Ann Hullinger/Hollinger and Joseph McCurdy:
John H. McCurdy b.1836 (age 14 in 1850 census)
Catharine E. McCurdy b.1840 Pa. (age 10 in 1850 census)
Isaac D.  McCurdy b.1847 Pa. (age 3 in 1850 census)
William M. McCurdy  b.1847 Pa. (age 3 in 1850 census)
Thomas W. McCurdy b.June 20, 1850 Pa. d. 1928 Chester Co.,Pa. (not
born...Census askes who was living in the home on 1st June) He does
appear in
the 1860 census at age 9.

The above family can be found in the 1850 Census of West Nantmeal Twp.,
Chester Co.,Pa. and the 1860 Census of Wallace Twp., Chester Co.,Pa.  I
also
have  Joseph McCurdy listed in the Wallace Twp.,Chester Co., Pa. Taxables
for
1857 & 1864.

I believe Mary Hollinger/Hullinger passed away between 1850 & 1873
because I
have a copy of a letter (written 1873) from her son John, to his father's
lawyer. The letter is in reguard to settleing the estate of Joseph
McCurdy
but there is no mention of Mary, however, children Catherine, William &
Thomas are.

I will be glad to pass on any information to others searching
Hullinger/Hollinger and will forward any to this list should I come
across
more.

Q: TERRY - do You have any of the HOLLINGER/MCCURDY wills ?
A: Just a letter written by Joseph and Mary Ann's son, John H. McCurdy. The
letter is about settling the estate of Joseph McCurdy in Wallace Twp.,
Chester Co. in 1873 There is no mention of his wife Mary Ann Hullinger,
however, four out of five of Joseph and Mary Ann's children are mentioned.

Q: ANY Marriages?
A: Just this one, Mary Ann Hullinger / Hollinger b. 1814 Pa. married 1834
in
Warwick              Village, Chester County, Pa. to Joseph B. McCurdy b.
1808 Pa.  [my ggg-grandparents].

Q: Any Land Deeds?
A: I have a copy of an 1874 map which shows Joseph's land in Wallace Twp.,

Does anyone have a Joseph  Hollinger in Berks Co.,Pa. in the 1800s?
I am also looking for info. on a John Hollinger listed in the 1850 census
of
Pa. He's listed as living in East Nantmeal, Chester Co.,Pa. at age 43.  I
believe John is the brother of my ggg-grandmother Mary Ann Hollinger b.
1814
Pa. and Joseph to be their father.

Thanks, Terry
