             Wm & Mary Hollinger

Hi Everyone,  I am searching for more info on MARY HOLLINGER of Ala, who
married JOHN MITCHELL (listed as first husband by Allen Powell).  Mary
was
the daughter of William Hollinger.  My g-grandmother, Hettie Mitchell,
was b.
in Ala abt 1857-59.  She was said to be part Cherkoee/Creek indian, as at
her
death she was buried in full indian dress.  Hettie m. Jesse E. Boyette of
Covington Co., Ala abt 1877.  My grandmother, Ella Boyette, was born
there in
April 1878.  The rest of her siblings (7) were all born in Ala also, but
in
different parts.  The names listed in Wm. Hollinger's family seem to
correspond with Hettie Mitchell's family.  Can anyone help with this
one??

    Cuz'n June,  I desc. Adam Hollinger of Hollinger's Island, Mobile, and
Mt.
Vernon, Ala., by his first wife, French-Kaskaski Illini, Mme. Marie
Josephine Juzan Hollinger, who had my Mrs. Margaret Hollinger Russell.
Mrs.
Russell's step-mother  was Mrs. Margaret Moniac Hollinger, daughter of
Creek
Chief Samuel Moniac, Sr., by who he had Wm. Hollinger, "half-breed".  You
need to contact his desc. Allen Powell, and attend the Hollinger-Moniac
familt re-union.  Alas, I've lost Allen's U.S. and e-mail address.

in the Poarch Creek Band. A desc. of Pvt. Sam uel Moniac, Jr., is Harvey

     Hi Marie,     In answer to your questions abt the children of Wm & Mary
Hollinger and their whereabouts,  is what I am trying to find out.   I
have
not been able to connect my Hettie Mitchell to anyone as yet. I emailed
Allen
Powell  again, but todate no ans.  I will try the other two mentioned and
see
what info I can find.  All I know abt Hettie  (b. abt 1857) is that she
and
her parents were born in Ala.  and she is rumored to be native american.

I am searching for MARY HOLLINGER, dau of Wm. Hollinger and Levitia Hettie
Colbert. of Ala.    Mary H. married JOHN MITCHELL and later married ?
ONeil.
Mary is buried in Daphne, Ala.  Anyone with info on Mary and her children.
Did Mary and John Mitchell have any children??  Thanks for any help.  June.
