Whereas I John Hollinger of Donegal Twp in the Co of Lancaster and
State
of PA
being weak of Body but of good understanding and therefore thought
prepare
to
make my last will and testament and to order how my effects should
be
disposed
of after my decease.
First it is my will that all my just Debts shall be paid out of
my estate.
Secondly I give and bequeath unto my widow Elizabeth two Beds and
Bedsteads
which she chooses all the linen [illegible and illegible possible
flax] I
now
have one cow which she chooses one chest one table one iron stove
which
she
chooses one spinning wheel a kitchen dresser and kitchen furniture
as she
chooses of that which is now here and the above mentioned articles
she
shall
hold as her property And further it is my will that the residue
of my
personal
estate and also all my real estate shall be sold as soon as can
be to the
best
advantage and I impower my herein named Executors of this my last
will and
Testament to give & make Deeds and there by grant & confirm
all my Right
in as
full & perfect a manner as I now posses it. And Further
it is my will
that my
widow shall yearly have the Interest arising out of the sum of one
hundred
and
fifty Pounds for her support during the Time she remains my widow
and the
residual shall be equally divided amongst all my children excepting
my
eldest
son George shall have Ten pounds in lieu of his second share and
then be
equal
shares with the rest each of my children shall be [illegible] out
of his
own
share And further I appoint my Trusty friends Christian Bucher and
Anthony
Hess both of Donegal Township in the County of Lancaster to execute
this
my
last will and Testament And I hereby declare this and no other to
be my
last
Will and Testament In Witness hereof, I hereto set my Hand and Seal
the
third
day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred
and ninety
three.
