William HOLLINGER, b. abt. 1760 and his wife Sarah BRACK, b. abt. 1760
are my 4th g-grandparents.  I do not know where they were born.  They
were married abt. 1782, probably in Burke Co., GA.  A William HOLLINGER
received three land grants in Burke Co., GA; 200 acres in 1784, 50 acres
in 1787, and 200 acres in 1793.  They had the following children:
(1)Elizabeth, b. abt 1785, m. Andrew John ALLEN, b. abt. 1785 (They are
my 3rd g-grandparents).
(2)Martha, m. Joshua MCDONALD.
(3)Patience m. Sam BRYANT.
(4)Margaret
(5)Berry
(6)Littleton
(7)Titus
Elizabeth HOLLINGER and Andrew John ALLEN, my 3rd g-grandparents, had
three children: Andrew Young John ALLEN, b. abt. 1809; William Price
ALLEN, b. abt. 1811; and Eliza ALLEN.  I would like to hear from anyone
regarding any additional information pertinent to my HOLLINGER line.
HOLLINGER was not a common name in the area of Burke Co., GA circa
1780s.  My HOLLINGERS could have come into the area from Augusta,
Richmond Co., GA, an adjoining county to Burke.

          Hi Cousins, Kevin and James,

Still down here in Georgia trying to find out more about my HOLLINGER
ancestry.  Anything new?  I did find out that Titus HOLLINGER's name was
listed twice in "An Inventory & Appraisement of the Estate of George
GALPHIN, Esqr."  The inventory of the estate of George GALPHIN is on
file at the Probate Office, Abbeville, SC Courthouse.  This is a list of
inventory of the bonds and notes of hand, etc. due to the estate of the
late George GALPHIN of Silver Bluff, SC.  The list was made the 16th of
May and certified the 9th of September 1782 under the hands and seals of
Stephen Smith, Robert Hankinson & Alexander Newman, sworn appraisers, as
was shewn to them by William Dunbar & Thomas Galphin, acting Executors
of the same.
