I don't find Sugar Grove Church of the Brethren in the Brethren
Encyclopedia
but are you thinking of the Church at Camp Sugar Grove in S. Ohio?  I
thought
that was also the name of the church but perhaps it had another name.

Your Landis and Hollinger family looks like mine. Could you send me some
dates etc so I can see if they are the same?

My ancestors are listed below.  I don't know if we
are related to the Jacob & Fanny Landis of Hardy
Co. WV, parents of Joseph Landis who married
Susannah Fox in Montgomery Co. OH in 1856.

In regard to Landis families in Manistee County,
Michigan, I know that children of Daniel Landis,
son of Christian Landis shown below, lived in
Manistee Co. MI.  Daniel Landis & Delilah Brooks
had: Opal 1887, Pearl, Olive, Ralph R., George
and Forest in  1905.   Also, Abraham, son of Jacob
Landis & Salome Hummer lived in Madison Twp.,
Montgomery Co. OH (or thereabouts) and some of his
children are thought to have moved to northen
Indiana or southern Michigan.  He had sons named:
Jacob, Samuel, Daniel, Abraham, John and Michael.
