In Annette
K. Burgert's book, _Eighteenth Century Emigrants, The Western Palatinate_,
she has information on the Jacob HOLLINGER from Waldmohr and Lambsborn,
about whom I have shared, and she also has this about the Jacob
whom I
believe may have landed in Lebanon County. This is what she says:
" HOLLINGER, Jacob, age 40 from Webenheim=6653 Blieskastel 8 (Germany)
came on Virtuous Grace, 1737. (See my web site at:
http://www.ristenbatt.com/genealogy/shipind.htm)
MIMBACH-WEBENHEIM Reformed KB:
Johann Jacob HOLLINGER, son of Joh. Jacob HOLLINGER of ?Bou---schville
in
Switzerland, m. 23 Jan. 1725 Maria Catharina, daughter of the late
Hans
Nickel HAMM, former forster at Webenheim. They had:
1. Joh. Jacob, bp. 11 Nov. 1725
2. (page torn; possibly Nickel) bp. 22 Aug. 1728
3. Joh. Daniel bp. 26 Nov. 1730
4. Christian bp. 6 Apr 1733
5. Gorg Daniel bp. 19 June 1735
[The published Zweibrucken Immigrant List, Pennsylvania German Folklife
Society, Vol. I, incorrectly identifies Jacob HOLLINGER on the Virtuous
Grace, 1737, as the 1736 emigrant from Waldmohr. See Strassburger-Hinke,
Vol. I, pg. 156 for *that* emigrant. The 1737 arrival is *this*
Jacob
HOLLINGER from Webenheim.]
