Harry E. Hellman

The funeral for Harry E. Hellman,75, Jamestown, N.D., will be at 10:30 Saturday in Grace Episcopal Church, Jamestown. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 Friday in Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown. He died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 1994.

Mr. Hellman was born June 30, 1919, in Dollar Bay, Mich. He grew up in Michigan and attended school in Lansing, Mich. He later attended Michigan State University, East Lansing.

He learned to fly in Civilian Pilot Training Program and was in the first group of pilots training Army cadets at Jamestown Flying Service in 1943. On March 8, 1944 he married Jeanne DeNault in Jamestown. He entered the U.S. Army Corps and was assigned to various bases in the United States for duty involving flying and research and development programs. After his military discharge in 1946 he returned to Jamestown.

He joined DeNault Insurance Agency in Jamestown and was later district agent for the Farmers Insurance Group. his wife preceded him in death.

He is survived by his daughter by a daughter, Diane Hellman, Jamestown; a brother, Allen, San Marcos, TX; and two sisters, Leona Doud, Los Osos, Calif., Margaret Reisner, West Covina, Calif.

Jeanne Hellman

The funeral for Jeanne Hellman, 71, Jamestown, N.D. will be at 2 Monday at Grace Episcopal Church, Jamestown. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 Saturday and Sunday in Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown. She died Thursday, March 4, 1993.

Jeanne DeNault was born Sept. 12, 1921 in Jamestown, where she grew up and graduated from High School. She later attended the University of North Dakota. On March 8, 1941 she married Harry E. Hellman in Jamestown, where they made their home.

She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Diane Hellman, Jamestown; and a brother James, San Clemente, Calif.
