In the name of God Amen:

In the name of God Amen: I Ann Hellman of the township of Elizabeth and County of Lancaster and the State of Pennsylvania, being sound and well in body and of perfect mind and memory, thanks be to God for the same & calling to mind the mortality of my body and that it is appointed for all once to die, do make and constitute this my last Will and Testament.

First I give and recommend my soul into the hands of Almighty God who gave it, and my body to the earth. and as to such worldly estate wherewith it has pleased God to bless me in this life, I give and dispose thereof as follows.

Item. I give and bequeath unto my son David Hellman the sum of one hundred pounds specie beforehand as also a good and well furnished bed and bedstead, of which money he is to have the interest during his natural life, and after his death it is to be equally divided between amongst his brothers and sisters and their lawful representatives. The remainder of my estate not herein before willed to my son David is to be equally divided amongst my children, namely my sons Jacob Hellman, David Hellman and my daughters Ann intermarried with George Carpenter, and Barbara intermarried with Theodor Dodendorff and the children of my son John Hellman, deceased, in the portion of their father and the children of my daughter Elizabeth deceased, who was intermarried with Jacob Chitty; now if any one of them to die without leaving a lawful heir or issue then his or her portion is to go to the surviving brother or sister, but in case all the children of either the said John Hellman or the said Elizabeth Chitty should so happen to die as aforesaid, then his, her or their portion is to be equally divided between my sons and daughters and their lawful representatives. further it is my will that if the said George Carpenter shall be alive at the time of my decease, his wife's portion shall be left in the hands of my hereinafter named executor. After the death of the said George Carpenter the said Ann his wife shall enjoy the money with the interest due therein & in case the said Ann should die before her present husband, then and in that case her portion is to go to her children. Further it is my will that if the said Theodor Dodendorff shall be alive at the time of my decease, his wife's portion shall be left in the hands of my hereinafter named executor. After the death of the said Theodor Dodendorff the said Barbara his wife shall enjoy the money with the interest due therein & in case the said Barbara should die before her present husband, then and in that case her portion is to go to her children and both the said George Carpenter and the said Theodor Dodendorff shall be excluded of that part of the one hundred pounds willed to my son David Hellman during his natural life as well as that part of the remainder of my estate.

And I do hereby nominate and appoint my brother Adam Hollinger of Warwick Township and my brother George Hollinger of Elizabeth Township in the County of Lancaster the Executors of this my last Will and Testament.

And I do hereby utterly disallow, revoke and disannull all and every other former Wills, Testaments and Executors by me in any wise herebefore named willed and bequeathed ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament.

In witness thereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty-ninth day of November One Thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty Three.

I do hereby nominate and appoint my trusty friends Peter Stauffer and Jacob Brubacher to be my executors instead of my brothers Adam Hollinger and George Hollinger and I do hereby disallow and annul said nominations. And further I order that the money herein before willed to my son David is to remain charges on my lands and the executors will receive the interest yearly and pay them over to my son David, but in case my son David should happen to get sick or otherwise so situated that the interest will be insufficient for his support, then my Executors will take to the principal from time to time so as to support him. and further I order that if my lands should be sold that twenty perches of ground will be excepted where a graveyard is now fenced for the use of the friends and neighbors. and further I order that if any of my grandchildren should be under age at the time of my decease, then herein before said Executors will retain their money in hand, the said Peter Stauffer that part for for the children of my sons and the said Jacob Brubacher that part for the children of my daughters. Done this 15th day of March 1826
