DANCYVILLE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH HOMECOMING
Sunday, September 21, 2003
THIS IS THE DAY
WHICH THE LORD HATH
MADE; WE WILL REJOICE AND BE GLAD IN IT.
PSALM 118: 24
PROGRAM WELCOME We welcome you to our Homecoming and thank you for sharing this day with us.Since our last Homecoming in 2001, several improvements and restoration projects have been completed . The exterior of the church was pressure washed, scraped and painted. The 14 window units were scraped, painted and reglazed. Damaged siding over windows and air conditioner units was repaired and replaced. Original outside shutters were restored and painted. The last project, shutter restoration, was possible only through contributions from many of you. Plaques for those whose contribution paid for two shutters have been placed by each window. A large plaque with name plates for those whose gifts paid for one shutter has been placed in the vestibule. Names of all who contributed are recorded in the Book of Remembrance which will be kept on the table in the vestibule. We sincerely appreciate all the help in making completion of this project possible. We hope you enjoy the day as much as we enjoy having you with us. |
