Seeking information on grandfather, Josephus Harvey, born around 1880 either in Ontario or New York State. Parents supposedly migrated from Cornwall, England as "Cousin Jacks and Cousin Jennies" to work the tin mines of Ontario. Josephus moved to Colorado as a young man and worked as a hard rock miner in the Cripple Creek gold mines.
Son, my father, William Ray harvey, was born August 1, 1902, in Victor, Colorado. We have determined that Harveys were very common in Cornwall, but have no links back beyond Josephus. Any help would be appreciated. Unfortunately my father was an only child and apparently Josephus was also.

They were all born at St. Leonards in Lanark, Scotland and mostly lived in either Edinburgh or Glasgow.
