I am looking for information on a family of HARVEYS that lived in the Ashcroft area, from around 1900 to 1945. My grandmother Laura Marcella HARVEY was born in 1904 somewhere in Kansas.
She came to Canada either with her family or by herself don't know yet. In 1924 my grandmother was living in Milner, B.C. on Nov. 10, 1924 in New Westminster her daughter was born, (my mother). As a young girl Nellie was not well, she went to live with a family of HARVEYS in Ashcroft. Nellie changed her name to Lilliam and on May 6 1940 at the age of fifteen got married to Garfield Eby in Achcroft, B.C. Any help in finding these HARVEYS would be great, Thank you.
HARVEY, Mabel, daughter of Walter Venn HARVEY and Mary HAMMER, born 18 Sep 1895, Toronto (?), Ontario, Canada. Last known address c 1916 in Vancouver, BC, Canada, where she worked for BC Telephone. Her son, Bert, born c 1916 and may have been put up for adoption there. Mabel may have gone to Tacoma, Spokane or Yakima, WA -- or elsewhere? Her 89-year old brother, Grant, would like to know what happened to her.
I am looking for a family history of the Harveys that are now living in the penticton area. Frank Harvey married Edith buck. and they had five children, Ralph, Dorthy, Dave, Lenard and Beverly. Any information regarding this family line would be greatly appreciated.
