One of the earliest land maps showing the sections,
townships, streams, lakes, and early settlements. Notice that
"Odebott Creek" has been named but that the settlement
of Odebolt does not exist. Its future location was indicated on
this map with a hand drawn square. This map comes courtesy of
a dedicated worker in the Ida County Library who helped me dig
it out of some 'old stuff' in the backroom of the library.
