John A. Nylin
On 23 August 1867, John A. Nylin of Webster county signs a land
contract for 80 acres in the west half of the northeast quarter
of Otter Creek section 24. He agrees to pay $3.50 an acre
and to buy an additional 5 acres of timber for $15 an acre.
The $355 total is to be paid in 3 notes. $40 the 1st year,
$40 the 2nd year, and $275 in the 5th year. On 25 November
1870, he assigns his contract to Peter Johnston. No more
is known of John A. Nylin.
