Leah Nancy Jane DeFoor was born December 9, 1840 in Alabama ( most likely Bibb Co.) she was the daughter of Samuel T. DeFoor and Sarah Clement.  ( I have found this family spelling their name DeFoor and DeFir). Leah married Robert K. McKelvain.

Samuel DeFoor was born about 1811 in South Carolina to John DeFoor (DeFur).  Samuel married Sarah Clement probably in Bibb Co. AL.  They later moved to AR, MS, and then to Texas.  Samuel and Sarah had the following Children.
