42. Photo Morgan Seth EARP2,58,59 was born on 24 Apr 1851 in Pella, Marion County, Iowa.60 He died on 18 Mar 1882 in Tombstone, Cochise County, Arizona.60 Morgan S. Earp was initially buried near his parents' home in Colton, California in the so-called "old city cemetery" under Mount Slover. When the cemetery was moved in 1892, his body was transferred to the Hemosa Cemetery, where it rested in lot 8 and later was moved to lot 32. Information in Notes to Chapter Two if "I Married Wyatt Earp" said to be the notes of U. S. Air Force Captain Melvin Gibson, in Colton, California, Public Library and Earp family recollections.

Morgan was murdered while playing billiards the night of March 18, 1882 by a shot fired from ambush through the glass portion of a locked rear door of Campbell and Hatch's saloon in Tombstone, Arizona.

Morgan and his wife, Louisa, are show in the 1880 census for San Bernardino County, California residing with his father, Nicholas Earp in Temescal.

Morgan Seth EARP and Louise "Lou" HOUSTON were married about 1875.61 Photo Louise "Lou" HOUSTON2,62 (daughter of Samuel HUSTON and Elizabeth [--?--]) was born about 1855 in Wisconsin. She died after 1885 in probably California.
