Its source: Dodd, Jordan, Liahona Research, comp. Missouri Marriages, 1851-1900 [database online] Provo, UT: Ancestry.com, 2000-; Do not have a copy of this marriage record and have not verified that they were married in Marion County, MO. Nancy Jane "Jennie" ADAM2 (daughter of John A. ADAM and Christina [--?--]) was born about 1845 in Kentucky. She died on 29 Mar 1898 in Paradise Hill, Humboldt County, Nevada. The Earp Family Genealogy (p. 149) lists the death place of Nancy Jane Adams, wife of Newton Jasper Earp, as being Paradise, NV. This possibly is Paradise Valley in Humboldt County, also known as Paradise Hill, according to "American Place Names of Long Ago: A Republication of the Index to Cram's Unrivaled Atlas of the World as Based on the Census of 1890," assembled with an Introduction by Gilbert S. Bahn, Ph.D. [Baltimore, 1998, Genealogical Publishing Co.).

Mary Elizabeth EARP2 was born on 25 Aug 1876 in probably Garden City, Finney County, Kansas. The "Earp Family Genealogy" (page 149) says Mary Elizabeth Earp died before 1885. However, she does not appear with her parents and siblings on the 1880 enumeration for Village of Garden City, Sequoyah County, Kansas, p. 461, family #72. (FHL, film #1254376, 1880 Federal Census -- KS -- Sequoyah County). This enumeration was taken 9-10 June 1880. This means she evidently died between 25 August 1875 and 9-10 June 1880.
