Shaking Family Trees
by Myra Vanderpool Gormley
I'm a retired
professional genealogist, former editor of the RootsWeb
Review and syndicated columnist and feature writer for the Los Angeles Times Syndicate
now tracing, compiling and pruning ancestors in my family trees.
Tracing the descendants of
Abraham VANDERPOOL (1766-1831) and
Phoebe
ISAACS (ca 1773-1833)
who married ca 1793 in probably Wilkes County, North Carolina.
They
both died in Marion County, Indiana.
They
had two sons and five daughters.
Surnames include VANDERPOOL, BAIRD, SWIFT, LEWIS, et al.
Rachel Vanderpool
Beach, a granddaughter, ca 1864
Abe and
Phoebe's Family Tree

Other family lines I'm actively researching:
Awtrey/Autry, Bankston, George,
Isaacs, and Kimbro
(a German-American line)
(all of these are Colonial American lines,
found
primarily in North Carolina, South Carolina
Tennessee and/or Georgia)

I no
longer accept clients for genealogical research
projects and I am unable to offer personal advice of this nature.
Thank you for not asking.
I am always interested in hearing from cousins and
others researching the same ancestral lines, especially the pre-1850
Vanderpools, Bankstons and Autrys/Awtreys in America.
