William Gore, born about 1816, married Alvira Kinner (1820-1900). William was a blacksmith, their son George Washington Gore was born in 1846 at Rome, Bradford Co., PA.
I would like to where William was born and who his parents were.
AMBROSE GORE
My vaguest Gore is Ambrose Gore, state uncertain, possibly Virginia, parents unknown, husband of Elizabeth, last name unknown. Children included (but not limited to) Nancy Gore, Joseph Gore, Ambrose Gore (2), and Clarissa (Elizabeth?) Gore born 1790/4.
Clarissa m. to Samuel Williams, ca. 1806 at Overton County, Tennessee
Clarrisa and Samuel's children were Vina Williams, Samuel Williams (2), Rebecca A. Williams, Joseph M. Williams, John Williams, James H. Williams, Ambrose Gore Williams,Alexander Williams, and W. David WIlliams, b. 28 September 1816. There may have been another sibling by name of David.
Clarrisa died before 1860 in Benton County, Arkansas
Anything to fill in any of the blanks on Clarrisa is sought -- locations, dates, family stories, was there an Elizabeth AND a Clarissa, etc. Particularly welcome any information on my elusive Ambrose and wife Elizabeth.

Searching for the parents of John Gore born about 1805 SC. Married Sarah Whatley 1826 Bibb Co AL, dau of William Whatley. John and his family resided in AL, MS, Claiborne Co LA and Henderson Co TX. Their daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Gore is my gr-gr grandmother. She married Andrew J. Boles. Any help appreciated and would share whatever info I have.
WILLIAM ASHFORD GORE - TN>KY>TN
Born TN perhaps about 1820, in Weakley Co mid 1850's, appears in Hickman Co, KY 1863, moved to Obion Co TN 1884, died there around 1900. Two children by 1st wife (name unknown): William Jordan Gore (bn 1859) & Amanda Jane Gore (bn 1861, married JM Berry in Hickman Co). Married 2nd wife Penisie Ann Cagle in Hickman Co KY 1864. Children: Ada Belle (Elam Roper), Thomas A (Katie), Robert W (Leona Jones), Marietta (JT Mays), Rosella (Victor Lynch), Servonia, Richmond (Myrtle Stewart), Arthur Lee, Sam Houston (Ollie Morgan), Sally Bettie (James Carver), and Nettie (Ralph Morgan). William apparently went by his middle name, Ashford, or Ashley. His father born SC, mother TN. Any help appreciated!
