This page contains indexes of all the
various Gombert database that I currently have.
The first choice, the Gombert
database contains my line and contains over 2400 people. This
database has been merged with several other that I discovered
to be related and contians iformation on both my paternal and
maternal families. Soon I hope to merge with my wife's database
contianing her family information.
The other databases are descendacy narratives.
Currently I have over 40 different databses of different Gombert
lines. I will be added these to this page as I get time. These
other databases contian information that has either been sent
me or that I have uncovered while doing Gombert research
I have replaced all known dates for
the last 100 years with 19--. This is to provide privacy to living
family members.
Some of this information has come from
people researching other families that just happended to have
married a Gombert somewhere along the way. My philosophy of this
is to enter the Gombert's and all of there descendants. I then
enter the information off of a pedigree chart for the spouses,
making note of where the information came from and who is actively
researching that line. I try and always have a contact person
for these families in case questions or new disoveries pop up |
It is not my intention to duplicate
effort or actively research these other families, I have enough
to do just researching the Gombert's.
As I receive permission from the various
Contact/Source individuals I will add a link to there email,
if they have one. I will also add links to related web pages
as I find them.
At some future date I will add various
miscellanous Gombert notes I have found in my research. Tidbits
that don't fit into any database or are not complete enough to
create a database.

please let me know. I would be very happy to add links to your
information on these pages.
I am always looking for more information.
Photo's, records, old books with the name of a Gombert inscribed,
whatever. I would love to hear about it.
