(Margaret's father was Alexander NEWBERRY II; although the exact relationship of Alexander II NEWBERRY to Isaac Newton NEWBERRY has not been found (as of the date of posting of this page), there can be no doubt that the two families are related.  The NEWBERRY family arrived in what is now TN (it was then the "Watauga Settlement" in Washington Co., NC, prior to 1796), and the earliest NEWBERRY was one of the signers of the "Watauga Settlement Agreement".  From research done, it is apparent that all the NEWBERRY family members in what is now Washington and Greene Counties, TN, were related.  Thus, Eliza Caroline BROYLES married someone fairly closely related.  If ANYONE can provide some source documents for the Isaac Newton NEWBERRY lines, we would appreciate it very much if you would contact us.  We need to tie all the TN NEWBERRY lines together and get them all properly placed in all our families.  If you have information on this subject, please email both Paul Jones and George W. (Timm BREYEL is a descendant of Matthais BREYEL, who immigrated to Arkansas from Germany in 1879.  This branch of the BREYEL family lived near the French-German border in Merdingen and Wyhl.  They settled in central Arkansas, where a colony had been established by the Holy Ghost Fathers (Catholic Order).  Timm's branch probably represents the original immigrants from what is now France, into what is now Germany; this is given credence by the fact that this branch/line stayed near the present-day French-German border, AND by the fact that the members of this branch/line were Catholics, rather than Lutherans, as were the more easternly BREYEL branches/lines.  We need to concentrate on this BREYEL branch/line to find links to them from the later Baden-W�rttemberg people.)

(Margaret's father was Alexander NEWBERRY II; although the exact relationship of Alexander II NEWBERRY to Isaac Newton NEWBERRY has not been found (as of the date of posting of this page), there can be no doubt that the two families are related.  The NEWBERRY family arrived in what is now TN (it was then the "Watauga Settlement" in Washington Co., NC, prior to 1796), and the earliest NEWBERRY was one of the signers of the "Watauga Settlement Agreement".  From research done, it is apparent that all the NEWBERRY family members in what is now Washington and Greene Counties, TN, were related.  Thus, Eliza Caroline BROYLES married someone fairly closely related.  If ANYONE can provide some source documents for the Isaac Newton NEWBERRY lines, we would appreciate it very much if you would contact us.  We need to tie all the TN NEWBERRY lines together and get them all properly placed in all our families.  If you have information on this subject, please email both Paul Jones and George W.
