Tillero Polk DAVIDSON WorldConnect: Debbie Ferguson Robyn Hamilton 10 Sep 2000: I don't know where he got the name Tillero but I have always been told that he was named Polk after James K. Polk. I don't know how accurate that information is. My grandfather was the grandson of Tillero and Martha Ann Kaylor. What little information I had came from my great uncle Leland. I have 6 sons listed for Tillero and Martha. 1. George Davidson 2. Austin Davidson 3. Luther Davidson 4. Tillero Davidson 5. John Davidson 6. Oscar Theo Davidson ( my great-grandfather) I'm afraid I don't have any dates for any of them at the moment. My mother keeps up with all of this. I have always been told that Tillero Polk, Sr. migrated to Mississippi but returned to and died in Randolph Co. Alabama. I'll try to get these dates and get back to you. 13.
