John married Rachel DAVIDSON, on 1754/1755. Rachel was born 1730 in Ireland.
She died in Williamson County, Tennessee.
They had the following children:
2 M i. James ALEXANDER was born 23 Dec 1756 in Buffalo Creek, Rowan County, North
Carolina and was christened in or b., Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. He died 28 Jun 1844 in
Bee Tree Creek, Asheville, North Carolina and was buried in Buncombe County, North Carolina.
James married Rhoda CUNNINGHAM, daughter of Humphrey CUNNINGHAM and Rhoda SUMMERVILLE,
on 19 Mar 1782 in Allison Creek, York District, South Carolina. Rhoda was born 15 Aug 1763 in
Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. She died 29 Jan 1848 in Buncombe County, North Carolina.
3 F ii. Ann ALEXANDER was born 1763 in Rowan (Iredell) County, North Carolina.
She died 1843 in York County, South Carolina.
Ann married John B. CUNNINGHAM, son of Humphrey CUNNINGHAM and Rhoda SUMMERVILLE,
on 23 Feb 1782 in York District, South Carolina. John was born 1762 in North Carolina.
He died 6 Mar 1783 in Buncombe County, North Carolina.
4 M iii. Thomas ALEXANDER was born 1770 in lived, Williamson County, Tennessee.
He died 14 Oct 1854 in Williamson County, Tennessee and was buried in Williamson County,
Tennessee.
Thomas married Elizabeth Vance "Betsy" DAVIDSON, daughter of William DAVIDSON Major RV War
and Margaret MCCONNELL, on 1754/1755. Elizabeth was born 1 Jul 1775. She died 1843 in Williamson
County, Tennessee.

5. Mary ALEXANDER (John) was born 1778 in North Carolina. She died 1855 in Robertson County,
