1. George DAVIDSON was born 1730 in Amelia County, Virginia. He died 1811 in Montgomery County, North Carolina. George was the son of John Davidson and Ann Sonners and grandson of William Davidson born about 1670. (DAR ID number 9373 Mrs. Clara Cordelia Davidson McNees George was a delegate from Anson County to the Provincial Congress in 1775 and Captain of the First Company, Saulsbery District, under Col.
