A. Wife, Melissa Cottle Davison could not be located. May be listed as     "Cottle."
Note: John Kelsey Davison is the son of Sam Kelsey Davison. Sam was the son of Wayne and Dorcas Combs Davidson. He is also the father of my ggrandmother, Margaret E. 'Maggie' Davison Phipps, and grandfather to my grandmother,  Lura Rosetta Phipps Shipley, Maggie's child. Both are buried at Unionpoint Cemetary, Banks, Oregon. NOTE ALSO, that there was no listing for SAM KELSEY DAVISON at Athena City Hall as being buried in the Athena Cemetary. A physical search found no grave. It was reported that he died and was buried there. His wife, Rachel A. Wilson Davison, is reportedly buried in Portland, Oregon.  Perhaps Sam is too.
