Pioneer Families of Missouri 
Bryan, Brand & Co., St. Louis, Mo. 1876

Andrew Davidson, of Kentucky, came to Mo. in l8ll, but returned in l8l3, 
and married Sarah Honson.  In l830 returned to Missouri and settled in St.
Charles Co.  His children were -- Susan, Greenberry, William, Angeline, 
Eliza J., Salome and John.  

Virginia Davidson  of Petersburg, Va. married John Atkinson in Louisville, 
Ky.  They had eight children , only three living, Robert and John, well 
known and prominent merchants of St. Charles and Virginia, wife of E. E. 
Chase, Eq. of Eina, Mo.  

Alexander Davidson of South Carolina, married Sarah Ellis, and settled in 
Ky, from whence in l82l, he removed to Missouri and settled in Montgomery 
Co.  They had three children, John, Abraham, and Rachel.  Abraham was 
married first to Mary Branson, by whom he had l2 children - Alexander, 
Alfred, Abraham, Stout B., Franklin, Hezekiah, Elizabeth, Sarah, Rachel, 
Mary, Louisa, and Martha. His first wife died and he was married the 
second time to the widow Hubbard, by who he had William and John A.  

Rachel Davidson - John Breenwell of Ky, had a son Joseph who married 
a Miss Taylor, and they had Ellen, Richard, Joseph, JohnJr., and William.  
Richard was married first to Eveline Raymond of Ky and second to Mrs. 
Counts, whose maiden name was Rachel Davidson.  The rest of the children 
married and remained in Kentucky.

Martha Davidson -  George, William and James Peery emigrated from 
Scotland and settled in Tazewell County, Va.  George married Martha 
Davidson, of Ireland, and they had three sons and nine daughters.  
Joseph, the youngest son, married Elizabeth Hall, of Va., and settled in 
Montgomery Co., Mo. in  l836.  They had Charles, Albert G., Gordon C., 
Thomas, Andrew, William H., Joseph A. and George.  

Jane Davidson - Mr. Russell ( no first name of N. Carolina, was a soldier 
of the Rev. War.  He married in N. C. and settled in Campbell Co., Va.  
Children were Mark, Henry, Daniel and Louis.  Daniel married Lucy Lane 
and settled in Carroll Co., Mo. in l836.  Louis married Jane Davidson and 
had Frank, David William, Eliza, Henry, John and three others.  The parents 
settled in Audrain County, Mo. in l835 and  Mr. Russell died in l872, at 84 
years of age.
