Notes for Asa Hatton

Brown Co., IN was formed in 1836 from parts of Bartholomew, Jackson and
Monroe Counties. The area in which the Hattons and Williamsons lived was part
of Bartholomew Co. in 1829 when Asa and Elizabeth married. Asa Hatton
entered US Government land in Brown County as early as 1834.
