SCOTT, Charlotta KIRK- Charlotta, wife of Eld. Larkin Scott, died at her home in Bentonvill
e Tuesday, March 26, 1895 at 4 o'clock a.m. with pneumonia, aged 75 years. Mrs. Scott, who wa
s the daughter of Daniel and Sarah Kirk, was born May 9, 1819 in Daviess Co., Kentucky. She w
as married to Mr. Larkin Scott April 17, 1836. The result of this union was twelve children
, eleven of Whom weep over the loss of a devoted mother. Mr. and Mrs. Scott moved to Dade Co.
, Missouri in 1840 and then to Benton County, Ark. in 1856 where they have since made their h
ome. The deceased united with the church of Christ when about 15 years old and for over 60 ye
ars lived a consistent christian life.An aged husband and eleeven children survive who have t
he sympathy of the entire community. The funeral services and internment took place at theHa
rt cemetery, four miles south of town, Wednesday afternoon on 2 o'clock, ElderDaniels of Roge
