Along with celebrating the 95th birthday of Nila (Ladd) Haskin, the Ladd and Hood families held a reunion on October 16 and 17, 2010.  The first gathering was in the fellowship hall of the Church of Christ in Cushing, Oklahoma.  The second gathering was later in the evening of Saturday, Oct. 16 at the home of Ray and Carol (Haskin) Watkins west of town.  The next morning some of the group joined the Watkins and Nila in the morning worship service of the Church of Christ in Cushing.  At noontime, they and other family members gathered in the dining area of the Best Western Motel in Stroud, Oklahoma for a Sunday dinner.

Seven photographers were active during the reunion, and the albums include the work of each of them.  They were Nelda (Franks) Heft, Joan (Ladd) Clark, Brenda (Bailey) Ladd, Frank Champion, Gary Gooch, and Forrest Ladd.  In addition, the pastor's wife, Eva Lou Heffington, took pictures of the birthday reception on Saturday.

The reunion albums are organized by family groups.  First are the Hoods, then the descendants of Elno Boyd and Mamie (Anderson) Ladd.  In addition to an opening album with multiple families represented, and the Hoods, they are organized in birth order of the children:  Everett, (Roy had no children), Forrest, Lela, Floyd, Ruby, and Nila.  Following Nila are the Andersons.
