Roy and Daisy (Krolop) Ladd
Roy Irvin Ladd, born 27 May 1905, was the second son of Elno Boyd and Mary (Anderson) Ladd. He married Daisy Emily Krolop on 27 July 1927 in Stillwater, Payne County, Oklahoma. They had no children. On Wednesday 18 May 1988 they were on the highway between Cushing and Stillwater when they had an accident in which they both were fatally injured. Daisy died on the day of the accident. Roy lived only three days, dying on 21 May 1988. Roy worked at various oil refineries in Cushing, Oklahoma where his last employment was as an accountant for the Kerr McGee Refinery. He was a CPA, and continued to operate his farm as well as working as an accountant.
