More of the Hood branch of our families
Mary "Mamie" (Anderson) Ladd had two daughters, Ruby and Nila, living at home when she and Will Hood married on 28 Mar 1928. Both Will and Mamie had lost their companions, Mamie years earlier and Will just recently. Will had three daughters still at home: Opal, Dorothy, and Vera, a newborn. (It is possible that Floyd Ladd and Lola Hood were still at home at least part of the time in the early days of Will and Mamie's marriage.)
