Timothy Hixson was born 1 May 1775 and died 15 Jan 1857. He married Leah Hanks on 20 Mar 1797 in Loudoun County, Virginia. Their descendants include all, or nearly all, of our branch of the Karns family through the marriage of their daughter Rachel to John Heft Karns. Timothy and Leah reportedly are buried in the McKendree Methodist Cemetery, Crystal Spring, Pennsylvania. (This photo is adapted from one of the Web sites of Michael Caldwell.)
