This is the first of 23 pictures of those attending the reunion of persons connected to the Ford, Kans. Church of the Nazarene. The speaker at the time the pictures were taken is Roy Franklin. The emcee for the event was Dick Close, whose mother Dorothy (Dawson) Close grew up in the Ford Church. Roy's mother was a long-time member of the church, and Roy grew up in the church. The photographs follow a pattern of sweeping around the room in a clockwise fashion, starting with the northwest corner of the room, shown here. The front of the room, where Roy is standing, faces west, and the camera here is facing north by northwest. Since people may be more easily identified in one photo than another, the detailed orientations are given so, if a person is not shown clearly in one photo, he or she may be seen more clearly in another photo of the same area taken from a slightly different angle. |
