The home of Isom and Allie (Cannady) Dawson in Ford, Kansas. This is how it appeared in the early days, about 1910 or 1911. Isom did some remodeling, including a porch railing and other improvements. After Isom died in 1936, Allie moved to a smaller house in Ford and their daughter Lillie and her husband Will Warner took the house. After they passed away, the house was sold. It has been remodeled so extensively that it no longer looks much like this.
