This record came from the predecessor of the Hahn-Cook-Street & Draper Funeral Home in Oklahoma City. The record shows they handled the funeral of Charles Wesley Cannady, born in Illinois [actually, Belleville, Illinois]. We cannot interpret the handwriting to tell what rooms were used. The residence listed is that of J. G. Parker [John G Parker, 3rd husband of their daughter Elizabeth "Lizzie" (Cannady) Parker] southeast of the city [which would be Oklahoma City]. C.W. died during the night of Jan 11, 1906 and was buried Jan 15, 1906 in Fairlawn Cemetery, Oklahoma City. His grave now has a headstone, but for many years it was an unmarked grave. He was a son of James W. and Mary (Harryman) Cannady, and brother of Dorotha, who married Adam Hagebusch. He married Rose Ella Ragan, and they had thirteen children, including Alfretta "Allie," who married Isom Dawson.
