Some of the group gathered for the commemoration ceremony of finding the grave of Charles Wesley Cannady and laying a marker stone. This ceremony was held Saturday 25 June 1994 in the Fairlawn Cemetery on N. Shartel in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The location of his grave and setting of the stone was the work of Jean (Karns) Ladd and her sister Colleen (Kans) Cornwell. Jean is in the left foreground, wearing a red jacket, along with Susan Rollins, Velda and Paul Dawson, Berniece Lemmons, Bethene Karns, Dorothy Close, Kristi Close, Edna Close, Forrest Ladd, and L. N. Close.
