Allie Cannady and some of her relatives
Allie was a daughter of Rose Ella (Ragan) and Charles Wesley Cannady. Her full name was Alfretta Mariah Cannady. She was born 15 June 1865 in Mascoutah, Illinois. She was the third child of nine, all but one of whom grew to adulthood and had families of their own. Allie married Isom Martin Dawson on 5 Oct 1884 in Sarcoxie, Missouri. They had ten children, all of whom grew to adulthood. The family were long-time residents of the Ford, Kansas area.
