The building in the background was the black school (and used
as a church for the blacks) in the 1940's and
was located in Porterdale, in an area, called Rose Hill.
This area was where the
blacks lived. This photo was taken cir. 1940's. There's a
story that ought to be told, about this community and it's
people. Anyone who
has any information about Rose Hill that they would like to
