Hi!
Can you help? My daughter is a descendant of Yancy Gordon Thomas
chief of police in Porterdale Georgia around 1920. He was married to
Lona Anderson their daughter Letha Katherine Thomas Kelley Cobb was
my daughters Grandmother. Mrs. Cobb was married to Simon Hill Cobb
of Griffin Georgia. Is there any place I could look for any more
information about Mr. Thomas since he held such an
important job as Chief of Police. I have tried the local police
station and they do not have any information on him. You even have a
picture on your website of Mr. Thomas Supervisory force at
Porterdale Georgia discovered by Bill Ivey. Any help would be
greatly appreciated.
