Tobe Kircus is Tex O. Dix "Dick" great great grandfather you have him listed on the porterdale site.

I am also related to the Finley, Otwell and Halls of Porterdale. My grandfather Pasco "Pad" Hall coming to work for Bibb after his discharge from WW1 he grew up in South GA in Ray City Berrien County GA.

After coming to Porterdale he married Ruby Kircus my grandmother who was a winder tender for Bibb. Their son's Jake and Jack as well as others grew up on the Porterdale village or the Hall place on 162. I spent many a Sunday's on that village.

We are also kin to the Mann and Rutledge of this area. below are the family group sheets on my direct Kircus line to my mother Leila Mae Hall Dick daughter of Ruby Kircus and Pasco O. Hall.

In the 1930 census my Uncle Carl Dick married Ethel Mann was living on Mulberry Street and working for Bibb, my father William Travis Dick 10 years of age was living with him as their father had passed in 1928 in Griffin GA.

Johnnie Kircus Kitchen listed on your web page was a great aunt and I visited with her a year before she passed.

Name: Francis Miles Kircus "Tobe"
